The faith community can play a role in gaining access to mental health treatment in their community. Churches in communities with no mental health access must come together and be leaders in working for and demanding full access to mental health for all residents.
If you cannot seem to sleep solidly or “turn off your brain” at night, try getting into a routine each night. A routine may consist of, turning off TV 30 minutes before your bedtime, then reading a book or passage, writing your next day’s activities, sipping on hot tea or mediating.
If we rush through life deleting any and everything that seems out of place, we may miss important people and life lessons. Thus, deletions should be done with caution and with an open heart and perspective.
