Gooooood Morning Everyone! By now you should be settling into a rhythm.

Last month you took your “big picture” and broke it down into smaller, more manageable, daily action steps.  This week is all about automation.  I will share a few simple strategies on how to use your resources in order to free up even more of your time which will allow you to really kick things into high gear.

I will start by explaining exactly what a resource is.  A resource can be a tool, a person, or anything that you can use to leverage time and/or money.  Before sharing my favorite 5 resources with you, you will need to take a few moments to identify the areas that you need to automate.  Typically, the tasks that need to be automated are the ones that you spend the most amount of time on but produce the least return.  For example: research, website maintenance, trying to create your own logo and marketing materials, social media posting, writing newsletters,  etc. Although my top 5 resources may not be new to you, it is the method in which they are utilized that will definitely give you the edge over your competition.

  1.   elance or odesk to hire graphic and web designers as well as other contractors
  2.    hootsuite to automate my social media postings
  3.   Interns/Virtual Assistants –  use them to make your sales calls or other research.
  4.  Skype – have face to face meeting without leaving your home or office
  5.  Mailchimp – automates all of my newsletters and responders

If you need additional assistance identifying other resources that best fit your business model, refer back to my free ebook “100+ Free Marketing & Publicity Ideas.”  It’s jammed packed with lots of creative ideas that can save you a ton of time and money.  Probably one of the biggest overlooked resources that can often get put on the back burner because you are “too busy” is your personal network.  You have got to get out and meet people face to face, creating valuable relationships that will inevitably keep you top of mind.  By using some of the resources listed above, you should definitely see an increase in your time which will allow you to get out and mix, mingle, and make some new connections.

Ok, that’s it for this week….You are focused, you have a plan, and now you are automated. What more could there be?  Well, you will just have to wait until next week to find out. Until then, Get Up, Get Going, & Get There!

To Your Success!  Have a Wonderful Week!
