Thank You For Always Being There!

On behalf of our staff, contributors and partners, I would like to personally thank you for supporting EmergeNC Magazine. It is fitting that I turn to you during this time of year as our holiday season approaches to share our sincere gratitude, for without you this is not possible.

With year four in the books, we have focused our attention on growth and more targeted programming. Stay tuned for some exciting announcements soon to come. We hope that you will continue to visit the site, share the content as well as your thoughts by commenting. Our contributors just LOVE that! My plans going forward are to share with you more of my inspiration, vision, and opinion.

Several years ago after the death of a close friend and months of introspection, I began my journey of making more of a difference in the lives of those around me. This is not to say that I had not done so before, but that my intent and focus had become more refined. Clearer. Throughout my youth and my entire adult life, I have volunteered for various organizations in order to give back and lead by example. I credit this desire to my parents who set this example for me, long before I even knew what they were doing or why. They did not just stop at the basics. By doing the right things themselves, they provided built-in examples for my siblings and me. We were always involved in activities which fostered helping others or building lasting relationships. No matter the background. These were often family-centered activities. I have taken cues from their examples to apply to my staff and business interests. I remain forever grateful that I am able to surround myself with so many wonderful people with similar objectives to me. They have pitched in and made my goals in business theirs. My objectives their objectives. Therefore, my success with this publication shall also be considered their collective success. Thank you to all involved. Let’s work to make 2016 even bigger!

Love, Peace, Progress,

William Gadson
